IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE LIGHTING THE BBQ OR THE FLAMES ARE LOW HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT!

All bbqs come equipped with a low flow regulator which is designed to reduce pressure if it detects a leak.  Unfortunately, the safety feature can be easily tricked into thinking there is a leak.  When this happens you will have difficulty lighting the grill and experience low flames that generate low heat.

To avoid this or to reset the regulator, follow these steps.

Make sure all burners are in OFF position

·       Turn off the propane tank valve

·       Disconnect the hose from the tank

·       Wait at least 15 seconds to reconnect the hose

·       Turn ON the propane tank valve SLOWLY.  DO NOT turn the burner valves to the on position first.

·       With the propane tank valve in the OPEN position turn the red pilot knob to the on position and light the pilot’

·       Turn on all the burners when the pilot is lit.

·       Make sure to turn OFF all the burner valves and pilot light BEFORE turning off the tank valve.

Failure to turn off the bbq the correct way will cause the regulator to falsely detect a leak and cause problems the next time the grill is used.

Here is a video on how to reset it.
